Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract to BAE�Systems in support of Communication Electronics Command (CECOM) Integrated Logistics Supports Center (ILSC) � Enterprise Solider Aviation (ESA) . The anticipated contract is for the procurement of hardware spares and repair services for the AN/ASN-157 Doppler Navigation Set (DNS). The projected period of performance is from September 28, 2021 to September 27, 2022, with four option years thereafter. The AN/ASN-157 DNS is a key sensor component used to provide highly accurate, three-dimensional velocity and navigation data on various aircraft platforms, including the AH-64D/E Longbow Apache, MH-47E Chinook, and MH-60K Blackhawk helicopters This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses or proposals received before the closing of this announcement shall be considered.
