THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE.� PHNSY & IMF IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S. C. 3304(a)(1) and (see FAR 6.302-1) to Fairbanks Morse LLC.� Fairbanks is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Emergency Diesel Generator (ERD) Scavenging Air Blower, Model APL# 810030011.� All Fairbanks parts, tools, and repairs are proprietary.� No other vendor can provide services of a qualified (OEM) representative to inspect, disassemble, and repair the equipment in accordance with OEM's proprietary drawings and specifications. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement.� All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit.� Responses must be submitted in writing no later than the time and date noted above.� Telephone responses and requests will not be received.� A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
