Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Market Research and Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interested suppliers of riprap and gravel. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the Government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region, Columbia Cascades Area Office has a requirement to obtain Aggregate Base Course Material to build shoreline protection at two (2) locations on Salmon La Sac Road in Ronald Washington. The two locations are approximately eight (8) miles north of the community of Ronald and five (5) miles north of Wish Poosh Campground and Boat Launch. There is no address for these locations due to the embankments abutting Cle Elum Reservoir. See attached draft specifications for more information. Reclamation intends to award one (1) firm fixed price contract. The delivery schedule will be on an as needed basis. Sources are being sought for vendors with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 212319, Riprap (except limestone and granite) mining or quarrying. Responses are requested with the following information: 1. Offerors' name, address, points of contact with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses. 2. Business size/classification to include any designations as Small Business, HUBZone, Woman owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, or 8(a) shall be indicated on first page of submission. 3. DUNS and CAGE number. 4. Estimated schedule of delivery. Include a short description on the ability to provide the material utilizing a truck with a slinger (conveyor belt) on an as needed basis during August 15, 2021 � September 15, 2021. The expected delivery is daily (not including weekends and holidays). Responses must be received by 12:00 p.m. (noon) Mountain Time, April 14, 2021. No award will result from this Sources Sought Synopsis. This Sources Sought Synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information provided.
