Description
Solicitation Repair F-16 HUD Pilot Display Unit (PDU), P/N: 79-049-13 NSN: 1270-01-199-7430 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIRED SUPPLIES:� Repair approximately four units of the A/B model Head-Up-Display (HUD) Pilot Display Unit (PDU), NSN 1270-01-199-7430, Part Number 79-049-13,-12. Period of Performance: 60 days after receipt of carcass REPAIR OVERVIEW: The repairs consist of minor to major overhaul including complete or substantial teardown into component parts.� The tear-down includes repairing or replacing components and/or sub-assemblies.� Reusable disassembled item components shall be used as replacement components for restoring functionality of other items.� Some reusable components are required to maintain the end item identification and be reassembled so as to furnish a totally rebuilt item.� The repair process used by the contractor shall bring service life back to the reconditioned items that would resemble the originally manufactured item.� The A/B HUD PDU will be restored to a nearly new condition in a facility owned and/or operated by the contractor. Repair will be IAW the PWS attached. Set Aside: This requirement is full and open. RESPONSE:� This requirement will be awarded using the best value �Lowest Price Technically Acceptable criteria under FAR 13. The Government requests the following to be submitted in the proposal. Completed SF18 with CLIN prices filled out. CLIN 0002 Submit a brief statement of capability to meet the requirement in the PWS and the RQR attached. � Please include the firm�s CAGE Code. Capabilities Statement/Technical Review Past and present experience with similar airframe repair for commercial and or military platforms.� If so, please list them with a point of contact that includes an e-mail address, part number/NSN, dates, unit price, and if it was delivered on time.���� Demonstrate that the necessary parts can be built either through existing capability or through qualified suppliers.
