Description

The United States Coast Guard, Aviation Training Center, Mobile, AL anticipates awarding SOLE SOURCE procurement to FLIR SYSTEMS, INC. for the following: 1. 380HD Simulator Upgrade. Design, integrate, and field multi sensor platform mount and interactive 3D fishing boat models to existing Aviation Training Center 380HD Simulators. Mount will allow up to four individual camera units to be collocated and provide a single line-of-sight to multiple students. Vendor will provide all labor and parts listed in the Schedule. NAICS Code 541330 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 AM CDT 03MAY21 will be reviewed by the Government. �A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. 380HD SIM contains proprietary software and processes developed by FLIR SYSTEMS, INC. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Purchasing Agent via email address is: Mitchell.A.Robison@uscg.mil If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to FLIR SYSTEMS, INC.
