Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Philips Healthcare, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, P.O. box 3003, Bothell, Washington, 98021 under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The requirement is for a maintenance service contract for the Government-owned Philips Radiography X-Ray System (Model 9890 010 87551 (ELEVA)).�� This requirement will be for Munson Army Health Center, (MAHC), Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 66027. Award will be on or about 14 May 2021.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The estimated period of performance is 1 - 30 June 2021. The Small Business Size Standard is $22M. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the non-personal service of medical maintenance for the Government owned Philips Radiography X-Ray System (Model 9890 010 87551 (ELEVA)). The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
