Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, Georgia intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Williams Sewer & Drain, Inc. (WS&D) P.O. Box 1930 Thomson, GA 30824; Vendor Cage Code 63AM6. The requirement is for the following items: 1 JOB: 13- Portable Holding Tank Rental with Twice a Week Service - Ft. Gordon -5/15/2021 - 5/15/2022; 13- Portable Holding Tank Rental with Twice a Week Service - Ft. Gordon; 8- Disconnection and Removal of Portable Holding Tank. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Although market research shows that other vendors are capable of meeting this requirement, WS&D, Inc. is the vendor that can provide this service in a timely manner and without any additional cost to ensure continuity of services. Additionally, effective competition is not feasible at this time due to a significant cost increase for demobilization and remobilization. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.� If no affirmative written responses are received by 16:00pm EST on 26 April 2021, an award will be made without further notice.� Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
