- SUBJECT: Large Scale Global Exercise (LSGE) 22 multi-modal transportation capability Problem Statement: The LGSE comprises multiple exercises supporting US Army Europe & Africa's exercise portfolio through numerous countries. The United States Government is seeking the potential commercial capability to support the US Army operations to move various types of equipment via multi-modal means, including over the road line haul and inland waterway barge transportation complete with material handling equipment required, within Europe. The US Government is seeking commercial vendors with the capability, capacity, and expertise to provide the best value t. Example requirements would include the movement, utilizing various means of the following types: See Attached document: �Example Routes: The Netherlands to Lest, Slovakia The Netherlands to Varpalota, Hungary The Netherlands to Tapa, Estonia The Netherlands to Grafenwoehr, Germany Belgium to Varpalota, Hungary Belgium to Lest, Slovakia Belgium to Tapa, Estonia Belgium to Grafenwoehr, Germany �Capability shall include all required equipment to load successfully, transport, and offload to destination. Lead time is of utmost importance; the US Government is exploring all potential solutions. The US Government requests planning factor lead time to determine the required start date to utilize multi-modal means. The US Government is exploring a combination of line haul transportation, followed by inland water barge transportation, and concluding with line haul from download point to final destination by multi-modal. The US Government is seeking capable commercial contractors to manage the requirement from start to finish. Provide the POC with applicable company literature outline interest and capability to perform this type of requirement The United States Governments applicable submission of capabilities to the POC listed below NLT 10 May 2021.
