Description

This is a Firm Fixed-Price, Performance-Based Service Contract for DDC Maintenance at�NSAM, Monterey, California. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the annual size standard is $16.5 Million. The contract term will be a base period of one year, plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will be guaranteed. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in a timely manner, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause.� This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 2016 for $168,000, including the base and four option years. Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) is included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. This solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The work includes, but is not limited to; provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform Facility Investment services for maintenance, repair and altering of the Direct Digital Controls/Energy Management Communication System (EMCS) equipment and systems managed by the Public Works Department, NSAM. The Prime contractor shall be responsible for all maintenance and repair services performed under the contract. Prime contractor is responsible for self-performing the work or locating appropriate subcontractors capable of performing the work. Prime contractor is responsible for ensuring proper workmanship and equipment is utilized by subcontractors performing work on all systems when the contractor is not otherwise certified to work on such systems.
