- Page 2 of 2 This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. James J. Peters Medical Center (JJP VAMC) has a requirement for 24-hour Ambulance service to transport eligible beneficiaries of the medical center for medical services. Ambulance services for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Life Support (ALS) shall be provided 24 hours, 7 days per week, 365 days per year for eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs James J. Peters Medical Center (JJP VAMC) in the Bronx and its three Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in White Plains, Yonkers and Queens, respectively. Facility addresses are listed below: Main Hospital James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Road Bronx, NY 10468 Outpatient Clinics White Plains Community Based Outpatient Clinic 23 South Broadway White Plains, NY 10601 Yonkers Community Based Outpatient Clinic 124 New Main Street Yonkers, NY 10701 Queens Community Based Outpatient Clinic 47-01 Queens Boulevard, 3rd Floor, Suite 301 Sunnyside, NY 11104 Ambulances shall meet all current applicable Federal, State and local specifications and regulations including, but not limited to, licensing, registration, and safety standards. Appropriate licensing by the State of New York is required. Contractors MUST be authorized (possess licensure) to provided services in the Bronx and its three Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in White Plains, Yonkers and Queens. Estimated service requirements are as follows: The Department of Veterans Affairs James J. Peters Medical Center (JJP VAMC) in the Bronx and its three Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs): 240 BLS trips per twelve months and 140 ALS trips per twelve months. Firms with interest and capability to respond to this requirement should respond with answers to the following questions: Would your firm be interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement? Is your firm a small business, or subject to other socioeconomic classification (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Woman Owned Small Business, etc.)? SEE Attached statement of work Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic size. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 621910. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on GSA E-buy website or https://beta.sam.gov/ at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
