Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source This notice is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this notice is to announce the United States Coast Guard�s intent to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order with�Alaska Pump & Supply, Inc.�in�Anchorage, Alaska in 15 days. The Government intends on purchasing one of�the following item: Moyno 2000 Pump Model 1G065G1CDF3AAA; w/ Suction Rotation: 90deg right from vertical Part # 4079000206 This needs to be an exact bolt by bolt replacement. The existing data plate information is: ""1G065G1CDF3AAA MO:4337088-1 CO:004120881� 04/18 Assembled in USA"" � The Government intends to negotiate solely with�Alaska Pump & Supply, Inc. per FAR 13.106(b)(1), as no other source of supplies will satisfy agency requirements.�Alaska Pump & Supply, Inc.�serves as the only authorized�distributer of genuine Moyno products. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333996, with a size standard of 1,250. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations.
