- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following commercial service: Protective Services at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Johnson Space Center (JSC), White Sands Test Facility/White Sands Complex (WSTF/WSC), Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), and Stennis Space Center (SSC). ��This notice relates to the Sources Sought Notice (Reference Number 80KSC020NPSC-SR-SS) and Draft RFP (Reference Number 80KSC021R0009-DRAFT). Protective services requirements include physical security, security police operations, Information Security and Communication Security, emergency management, identity management and personnel security, facility security assessment, identity credential access management and the NASA Protective Services Training Academy. This acquisition is a competitive 8(a) small business set-aside. The NAICS code and size standard are 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services and $22 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFP 80KSC021R0009 is on or about May 24, 2021 with an anticipated proposal due date on or about June 24, 2021.
