- The Portland Area Indian Health Service (PAIHS) is requesting proposals to migrate VistA Imaging (VI) images and data from an Archive Appliance to a NetApp/StorageGRID array. The existing archive is End- of-Life and needs to be replaced.. This would be a firm fixed price for services. GENERAL: The Portland Area Indian Health Service program objective is to meet and maintain performance measures and Veterans Administration (VA) regulatory requirements in accordance FDA approvals and IHS agreements with the VA. This performance-based statement of objectives describes the requirements for the Portland Area Indian Health Service (PAIHS). Prospective Contractor shall begin performance within 60 Days from the date of award of this contract as determined by COVID-19 restrictions and/or availability to access Portland Area Office building. The contractor must be a United States of America citizen. Must meet IHS security and HSPD12 requirements for network access. Work performed from remote locations must be performed with the United States. BACKGROUND: The existing Archive Appliance is End-of-Life. The hardware components of the StorageGRID array are operational. The goal of this contract is to migrate images and data from the Archive to the StorageGRID array and migrate facilities to the new array. The Portland Area Office has purchased servers, NetApp storage for the StorageGRID array and it is currently operational. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this performance-based statement of objectives is to migrate images and data from the Archive Appliance to the StorageGRID array at Portland Area Office in support of the mission of the Indian Health Service: to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska natives (AI/AN) to the highest level. The contractor is required to have hands-on experience with a StorageGRID array. Must be experienced with providing customer service interaction via telephone and the ability to provide technical support/steps via telephone. The contractor is expected to configure the hardware (HP servers, NetApp) and software (VMware, StorageGRID) of the StorageGRID array and work with Area Office Vi support staff to migrate images/data and configure facilities for the migration. SCOPE: The contractor will be utilizing the services under this contract to individually coordinate the work schedule with the Area Office VI support person. This scope of work is for planning, array evaluation, software updating, image/data migration, site migration, training, support, and related documentation. This includes incidentals necessary to accomplish this in a responsible, cost-efficient, and environmentally friendly manner. There are existing Hewlett Packard servers and NetApp appliances in place for this migration. Windows and VMware are installed on the Host servers with virtual servers ready for the migration. The contractor will evaluate the software applications and inform the Area Office VI support person if updates are needed. All tasks under this contract will be conducted in accordance with the most stringent of all federal, state, and local codes and regulations. Also, the contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices. (Also see ""Constraints,"" below.) The contractor shall provide services to: Evaluate the existing StorageGRID array. Update and upgrade software components where needed. Migrate images and data from the Archive Appliance to the StorageGRID array. Work with Area Office VI support person to migrate facilities to the StorageGRID array. Provide training on the operation and maintenance of the StorageGRID array. Provide documentation of the configurations of the StorageGRID array. Provide technical support to Area Office VI support person. FACILITIES AND SITE REQUIREMENTS: The contractor can perform work at Portland Office and dates/times are coordinated with the Area Office Vi support person. Remote access is provided when security and HSPD12 requirements are met. Storage and staging of equipment and materials at the worksite shall be coordinated with the Facility Manager. The Contractor is responsible for all security regarding the staging of equipment. Contract employees will check in as ""visitors"" each day at the office. Contractors entering the building will show identification and sign in and out each time they enter/leave the building. It is the contractor�s responsibility to work with the facility manager to become familiar with the building layout, security requirements, vehicle access, fire safety, emergency exits, and evacuation procedures. Contract employees must follow COVID requirements at the facility. GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITY: Workspace will be made available for the Contractor while onsite. The Government will work with the contractor to develop defined timelines for the completion ofthe assigned tasks. The Portland Area VI support person will provide facility and folder mappings and VistA Imaging configurations.
