Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER to and is not a request for competitive proposals.��The Department of Commerce/NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service� (NMFS) intends to negotiate with and issue a sole source, firm-fixed price award to Marel Seattle, Inc., Seattle Washington 98107-5133, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), and as authorized by FAR 6.303 and will incorporates clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05, effective date 03-10-2021.� The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is�811219 and the Size Standard is $20.5M.� The anticipated award date is May 21, 2021. NEFSC Ecosystems Surveys Branch (ESB), Woods Hole, Massachusetts has a requirement for maintenance, calibration, and repair services for government owned Marel Bluetooth digital motion-compensating marine platform scales for maintenance, calibration, upgrade and repair of 42 devices in support of numerous NOAA NEFSC vessel surveys and scientific missions.� The ESB�s mission is to collect accurate scientific data for the purposes of maintaining data integrity throughout fisheries management operations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. It is for informational purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest by providing a capability statement not later than May 20, 2021 at 11:00AM(EST). The capability statement must provide clear, concise and unambiguous evidence substantiating capabilities that would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.�� No solicitation package is available.
