Description

This purchase order was awarded to BAE SYSTEMS INFORMATION AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS INTEGRATION INC., CAGE 8JPF5. This is firm fixed price contract consisting of a one-year base period with a nine(9) term option periods for vendor-managed inventory services/CDRL reporting services and a quantity option CLIN to procure up to an additional 393,500 Common GPS Modules (CGMs) in FY22, subject to the availability of funds. Total contract length is not to exceed nine years. This procurement contains one (1) NSN in the 5962 FSC: 5962-01-688-3706. Rockwell Collins (13499) is the sole approved source for the awarded NSN. BAE is in the process of taking ownership of Rockwell. The item was solicited Unrestricted using Other Than Full and Open Competition IAW Far Part 12. This project was solicited utilizing a Best Value Trade Off technique. Factors that were evaluated included Price, Past Performance, Proposed Delivery/ Schedule, and Socioeconomic Factors. As BAE was the only offeror received for all CLINs, these evaluation factors were used mainly to determine acceptability of the proposal to the solicited requirements and not in comparison to another vendor.
