Description

The United States Coast Guard intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FPP) award to Charon Technologies. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain six (6) Spectrum Guard System Warranties and two (2) Serviceability Evaluation Fees for the Coast Guard Counterintelligence Service (CGCGIS) technicians to provide technical surveillance countermeasures support to conduct CI Investigations and Operations. This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG�s intent to sole source. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. All responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist Ty Cassady via email to ty.m.cassady@uscg.mil by 2:00PM EST on May 28, 2021. If the Government does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the specified date, negotiations will be conducted with Charon Technologies. as the sole source and a purchase order will be issues without any additional notices being posted.
