Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice, and statement of work for this requirement will be posted to SAM. GOV on the anticipated solicitation date stated below. N6264921Q0175 will be a competitive, unrestricted action among sources duly authorized to operate and perform business in Japan. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka is intend to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Oily Waste Water Storage Barge Repair. The barge size is 165 feet in length x 35 feet in width. Hull material is steel. This service will be comprised of repair services and towing services; the repair services are required to work on waste water storage tank(8EA), manhole and its cover(8EA), void (2EA), mooring bitt(1EA), rubber fender(2EA), fastener for the rubber fenders(2EA), non-skid tape, piping and valves, crew compartment, and hull cleaning. Towing services is required from berth 0 on U.S. Naval Base Yokosuka to the contractors facilities; upon completion of the repair, will be towed back to the berth on U.S. Naval Base Yokosuka by the contractor. The anticipated timeline for repairs is 150 days. A site visit will be scheduled during the solicitation at U.S. Naval Base Yokosuka. The potential quoters shall attend to verify the actual condition of work area perior to submit a quote. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the SAM. Gov website on or about 8 Jun 2021 with quotes due on or about 10 July 2021. Prospective quorters are responsible for monitoring the Beta.Sam Gov website for any amendments. Contractors must be registered and possess active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of the RFQ response due date.
