- Page 3 of 3 THIS SPECIAL NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. This notice is for informational purposes only. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice 36C24421Q0732 is to identify any Small Businesses, mainly SDVOSB/VOSB vendors who can provide TempTrak/ProAct Supplies listed in the attached Statement of Need. In addition, we are also seeking any Small Business manufacturers that have the capability of providing this system as well. This is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future work. Small Business, SDVOSB, and/or VOSB manufacturers authorized distributors are encouraged to submit your company s information and capability statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issues an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Potential vendors should respond with their ability to provide the name brand equipment and supplies included in following Statement of Work: STATEMENT OF NEED TempTrak/ProAct Supplies INTRODUCTION: General: Facilities Management Services at the MJCVA Medical Center is responsible for the successful operation of the TempTrak environmental monitoring system as described in Medical Center Memorandum 138-60. The program monitors, logs, and reports alarm due to temperature/humidity variances outside of the allowable range for critical patient medication, supplies, and nutrition. As a direct response to VHA Notice 2021-02, all monitoring devices should include a buffered probe, be calibrated, and require a 24-hour a day, 7 day a week history and action plan. FMS has a bona fide need to acquire stock supplies and additional ProAct events to support this directive. Description of Products: The manufacturer will provide materials in the requested quantities. This includes: Internal/External Temperature Transmitters, Temperature/Relative Humidity Transmitters, Solid Simulator Probes, Cryogenic Probes, probe shields, batteries and ProAct events. Product Quantities: 100 I/E Temperature Transmitter 80 Temp/Humidity Transmitter 175 Solid Simulator 50 Cryogenic Probes 50 Cryogenic Probe Shields 5 900 MHZ transmitter replacement battery (12 pack) 500 ProAct Events Background: TempTrak has been used locally since 2008, supplies have been purchased as necessary with purchase card requests and without a managed inventory. As of the service contract awarded in May 2020, the program has been renovated, in addition, the new design and VA directives require standardizing probe types and other updates. This requires an active, current inventory to be able to support the services as devices malfunction, break, and/or reach end of life. Quality Assurance: The supplies will be inspected by the government upon delivery, any devices with physical defects must be replaced within 30 days of notification. Supplies should have manufacturer warranty and service warranty for return or repair for up to 3 years. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of meeting the Statement of Work (SOW) for a TempTrak/ProAct Supplies, for Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center, located at 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of interested parties to demonstrate to the government that they can provide the equipment or supply that fulfills the required minimum specifications mentioned above.
