Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for GFP storage, as well as engineering services for the current ESMF system.� The NAICS code is 541330 and the Product/Service Code is AC34. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics � Applied Physical Sciences.� The proposed action is for storage and engineering services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).� The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: General Dynamics � Applied Physical Sciences is the proprietary service provider for the ESMF system.� The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to General Dynamics � Applied Physical Sciences using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.������ Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than June 2, 2021.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.� However, all responses received by June 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government.� Any questions must be received via e-mail by June 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM EST.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.�� Inquiries should be directed to Steven Besanko at steven.besanko@navy.mil.
