Description

This is a presolicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5. �The Government anticipates a construction requirement for Road Repair in Silver Springs, Marion�County, FL. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310�Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5M.� ��� This will be solicited using FAR Part 14--Sealed Bidding.�� The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on or about 22 June 2021 and the closing date will be approximately 30 days after.� Full plans and specifications will be available for download from beta.sam.gov.� �A site visit will be held 10 -15 days after the IFB is issued. Opening of bids will be at the time and date identified on the IFB in Atlanta, GA. �This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside.� Line Item 0001 - 080503 OCA CON ERFO NFSR 11 MP 14.9 - 582867 1) Removing downed trees and light material, pulling ditches and wing ditches; 2) Cleaning culvert inlet and outlets in place; 3) Pulling back road width to its designed single lane or double lane width, building double lane turnouts every 1000 ft for the single lane section, adding material for the road bed and road surface, reconditioning road by mix/blade/compaction; and 4) seed and fertilizing the 10 ft area both sides of the road. The contractor shall accomplish the listed work in accordance to the acceptance requirements as per the specifications. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Road Reconstruction service as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Line Item 0002 � 080503 OCA CON ERFO Project NFSR 70-0.1 - 582868 1) Removing downed trees and light material, pulling ditches and wing ditches; 2) Pulling back road width to its designed single lane width, building double lane turnouts every 1000 ft, adding material for the road bed and road surface, rebuilding the intersections with NFSR 09 and NFSR 11, reconditioning road by mix/blade/compaction; and 3) seed and fertilizing the 10 ft area both sides of the road. The contractor shall accomplish the listed work in accordance to the acceptance requirements as per the specifications. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Road Reconstruction service as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. C.2����� PROJECT LOCATON Line Item 0001 - 080503 OCA CON ERFO NFSR 11 MP 14.9 - 582867 The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the National Forest System Road 11 from MP 14.917 to MP 24.449, on Ocala National Forest. Line Item 0002 � 080503 OCA CON ERFO Project NFSR 70-0.1 � 582868 The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the National Forest System Road 70 from MP 0.116 to MP 5.822, on Ocala National Forest. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance:� 120 days
