USCG CEU PROVIDENCE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE 70Z0G1-21-S_DREDGE_BOAT_BASIN_SFO_MORICHES THIS IS ONLY A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB), 8(a) certified Small Business concerns, Woman-Owned Small Business concerns or Small Business concerns, or solicit Unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, with a small business size standard of $30 Million. The estimated value of the procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A 20% Bid bond is required.� Performance and/or Payment bonds will be required. The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking interested vendors with successful past performance, current relevant experience, personnel/resources, equipment, and capability to perform the following work: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services required to perform maintenance dredging of the boat basin at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Field Office Moriches, NY to the horizontal and vertical limits shown on the Drawings. Dredging by hydraulic or mechanical means is allowable. Final placement of the dredge material will be in the existing bermed disposal area located onsite. The Contractor shall be responsible for the construction of temporary access the bermed disposal area, clearing existing vegetation within the bermed disposal area to facilitate material placement, and construction of the overflow weir and return flow piping through the berm. Following completion of all dredging and disposal operations, all temporary facilities shall be removed and the site returned to its pre-construction conditions. The Contractor shall complete all work in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Federal, State, and local regulatory permits received for the project (Appendix A). The total estimated amount of material to be removed from the channel is 8,700 cubic yards of silt, mud, sand, gravel, and cobbles. Due to the scheduling restrictions in the NY DEC dredging permit, all dredging work shall be completed within 01 October to 31 December. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the project specifications (PSN 11061645), Department of The Army Permit (NAN-2020-01217), State of New York/Department of State (F-2020-1099(DA)), New York DEC Permit (1-4722-01694/00021) (See Appendix A of the Specifications) and applicable wage rates. The dredged material shall be placed within an existing upland diked area on site for dewatering and final disposal per the USACE and NY DEC permits. No dredge work is permitted between 01 January and 30 September due to permitting and environmental restrictions. Your response is required no later than 13 July 2021. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on an applicable set-aside.
