- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the requested commodities. The NAICS Code is 334310; size standard is 750 employees. No set-aside. Accepting all socio-economic and large business responses. Do not send bids at this time. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name b) address (c) socio-economic status, (d) point of contact (e) phone, fax, and email (f) DUNS number (g) Cage Code (h) Tax ID Number (i) and must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor and provide the commodities described below. Security CCTV Components & Installation The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System Police Service is in need of Police CCTV Operations Control Upgrade at Manhattan Campus, Brooklyn Campus, and St. Albans Campus. The solicitation will require a mandatory site visit at each campus. Please review the below OBJECTIVES, and REQUIREMENTS, and respond with capabilities to provide brand name or equivalent for equipment and installation. Objectives: The VA NYHHS requires a contractor/vendor who can design, install, test and troubleshoot to support the upgrade requirements of the CCTV control systems at each campus VA Police Operations Control Room listed above. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, administrative support, labor, materials, tools, parts, supplies, lubricants, equipment, barricades, signs, and transportation necessary to fulfill all the requirements of this SOW. Equipment Requirements: The vendor shall provide the following brand name or functionally equivalent equipment. PELCO 288 TB Recording Servers - Part #VXS2BE288-N16S PELCO Core Media Gateway Part #VXCMG2NSVR VideoXpert Desktop Workstations - Part #VXWKST PELCO NET5500 Series Video Encoders Part #NET5516US Winsted Security Console Part # SIGHT-LINE PELCO Enterprise Camera Licenses Part #E11C Response due no later than 15:00 EST July 23, 2021. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov.
