- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source purchase order basis with The Cordero Group, located in Lyndhurst, NJ 07071, for the acquisition of consulting requirements on formulating law enforcement strategies based on the company�s authoring and consulting for large-scale intelligence-driven strategies involving joint task forces affecting local, state and federal law enforcement to curb drug-related violence in cities, countries and statewide. The consultant�s technology capability ranges from identifying and integrating supporting proprietary systems development for creations that include real-time situational awareness to help fight crime and measure performance, resource management technology to increase organizational capacity to fight crime, as well as a community engagement system. The consultant's combined level of strategic and operational ""hands-on"" background and experience in all required subject areas, including experience in rigorously identifying and analyzing data, developing and implementing crime prevention strategies, and understanding and designing technology solutions makes the organization uniquely capable of supporting DEA. The Cordero group consultant is unique because of expertise in an all-in-one proprietary system for formulating law enforcement strategies to curb drug-related violence in cities, states and the federal arena.� The Cordero Group�s consultant's combine its unique subject matter expertise, capabilities, and outcomes in developing and implementing violent crime strategies, identifying and analyzing supporting data, and designing and using crime prevention technology in real time. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.� The Government anticipates the award of a contract. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.�This requirement is set-aside for small businesses only. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice.� The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 ""Simplified Acquisition Procedures.""� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561611.� The business size standard is $22,000,000.00.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation.� A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.� Closing date for submitting a capability statement is August 10th, 2021 at 2:00pm Eastern Time.� All submissions should be submitted electronically to Kaitlyn.M.Mahafkey@usdoj.gov.
