Description

The Cargo Helicopters and Fixed Wing Program Management (PM) Offices selected the L3 Harris Technologies - L3 Aviation Products Read Out Support Equipment (ROSE) (SW) for the U.S. Army Chinook helicopter and Fixed Wing fleet (CH-47 and FW) to record critical flight and audio data. The ROSE SW program is used for downloading data from, and uploading data to, the Cockpit Voice/Flight Data Recorder (CVR/CVFDR). These are the major components of the aircrafts safety flight data and Health and Monitoring System. � The US Army Contracting Command, APG, Natick Contracting Division, on behalf �U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center (USACRC), intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13.106(b)(1) only one responsible source to L3 Aviation Products, INC, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49512 for Read Out Support Equipment (ROSE) Software License. L3 is the only company capable of performing this proprietary Instron retrofit. All Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511.
