- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation � Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA, a sole-source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type Delivery Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Contract N00019-20-G-0005, Solicitation N00019-21-RFPREQ-WPM262-0301.� NGAS will provide the necessary support required to launch and deliver MQ-4C Air Vehicles from Palmdale, CA to Patuxent River, MD.�� The initial requirement is for Unmanned Aircraft (UA) B-8.� It is anticipated for option items to account for subsequent UAs.� This Delivery Order has an anticipated period of performance to begin in November 2021.� Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the Triton UAS.� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, �Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements� for the proposed actions.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
