- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M221QNCNS1067 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06. �������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Services (NOS), The Beaufort Laboratory at 101 Pivers Island Rd Beaufort, NC 28516, has the requirement to purchase two (2) buoy systems with multi parameter sondes, data logging and communications. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable. Quote shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor�s quote.� This RFQ is being issued full and open. The associated NAICS code is 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying and Controlling Industrial Process Variable, with a business size standard of 750 employees. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: �The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and; Provide a technical description of the product being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary. � All questions must be submitted in writing to Wendy.Culbreth@noaa.gov by 4:00 P.M. Eastern on August 19, 2021. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted by 2:00 P.M. Eastern on August 23, 2021; Quotes must be submitted via e-mail to Wendy.Culbreth@noaa.gov. �The anticipated award date is on or about September 1, 2021. Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The Government does not accept responsibility for non-receipt of quotes. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to request and receive a confirmation of the quote receipt.
