Description: The VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) in VISN 7 utilize the Welch Allyn Connex solution as an interface to the Electronic Medical Record for automated vital signs data documentation. The purpose of this procurement is to expand the functionality to outpatient areas and upgrade the existing Welch Allyn Connex server applications to a supported operating system. Currently seven (7) of the VAMCs only use this solution for inpatient areas. To expand the functionality to outpatient clinics, additional software licenses and implementation services are required. VISN 7 also requires an upgrade of the existing Welch Allyn Connex servers at five (5) VAMCs to a supported operating system.
