- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36�12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, (FAR Part 36) evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z02921QPG703400 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Construction are included in this order and are applicable. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR Part 36, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR Part 36 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR Part 36, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR Part 36. Where the word ""offer/offeror"" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to ""quote/quoter"" or a derivative of that word. The applicable NAICS code is�238990 and is unrestricted. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract�awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov. The US Coast Guard�Base Galveston has a requirement to install a chain link fence, to include: Enclose area span 100� 9� then 90 degree turn 12� 5� to include 2 sliding gates, pedestrian access door and double swing door -8� Chain Link Fence, Using 2 3/8 Line Post, 1 5/8 Top Rail - Install Walk Gate to have Single Sided Combination Lock to Fit a 7 Pin Best Lock -20�x 8� Slide Gate -13�x 8� Double Gate with Rollers -10� x 8� Slide Gate Please see the attached Statement of Work for specifications of work. 30 DAY ARO FOB Destination to: U.S. Base Galveston 3000 Fort Point RD. Galveston, TX. 77550 FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Date and place of delivery and acceptance is on or before October 3, 2021.
