Description

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award a single award, firm-fixedprice (FFP), HUBZone Sole Source action for Female and Male Berthing Refurbishments in support of the USS WASP (LHD-1) to accomplish specific requirements described herein and in the resultant solicitations/contracts. The policies and procedures of FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5 � Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 19.13 - Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program will be utilized. As a result of information obtained from responses received while conducting market research, this requirement will be solicited as a sole source HUBZone action. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 337127. The size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code is 7195. This requirement is for habitability upgrades of the female and male berthing spaces in support of U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, the USS WASP. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Once available, the solicitation will be posted to this site (SAM.gov at https://sam.gov/). The solicitation is expected to be available on or before 31 August 2021.
