Page 3 of 3 RFIs Solicitation 36C26221Q1206 VA San Diego Security Cameras Surgery & Radiology 1. Please verify the scope of work includes cameras in Building 14 MRI as part of the Radiology portion of work. VA Response. Yes, cameras to be installed in Bldg 14 are included. 2. Please provide drawings showing all camera locations. VA Response. Posted in amendment 00001. 3. Please verify all contractors need to provide their own PPE to enter the OR clean areas. VA Response. All contractors are responsible for providing and disposing of their own PPE. 4. Please verify all contractors/workers need to comply with OSHA 16 asbestos certifications to work in the interstitial. VA Response. All contracted staff who will be working within the interstitial must present a current OSHA 16 asbestos O&M certification as well as a respiratory fit certification. 5. Please verify coordination with this project will not only include the COR, but VA Biomed, IT and Police. VA Response. VHA HTM/Biomed is the COR of the project. Other parities included are OIT and Police. 6. Quantities between equipment listed on section 6 of the solicitation notice differs from the actual device counts on the VA provided drawings. For example, there are 25 cameras labeled on the drawings for Radiology/MRI however there are 34 cameras and one video intercom listed under Section 6 Radiology. Also, there are 26 cameras labeled on the drawings for Surgery however there are 27 cameras listed under Section 6 Surgery. Please provide a revised Product Description and Quantities list and drawings with matching quantities and equipment. Please be sure to update the required camera licenses as well. VA Response. The drawings have been updated to reflect the camera models and quantities detailed in the statement of work. 7. In the MRI area, the VA provided drawings show a three-sensor camera however the section 6 of the solicitation notice lists a four-sensor camera. What is the correct number of sensors for this camera? VA Response. The drawings have been updated to reflect the camera models detailed in the statement of work. 8. Section 6, line item 4 under Surgery lists the following part number 20C-H4A-4MH-360. This part number refers to a 4x 5MP camera which seems to match the VA provided drawings for this space. However, the same line 4 description says camera is 3x 8MP camera. Please clarify which camera is required in this space. VA Response. Camera model 20C-H4A-4MH-360 is required for the space. 9. Which area within surgery will require the IR Illuminator? This part is not marked or identified in the drawings. VA Response. The IR illuminator will be utilized in associate with camera model 20C-H4A-4MH-360. 10. Section 6, Line 13 under Radiology lists a Video Intercom with camera. This device is not marked or identified in the VA provided drawings. Where is this Video intercom to be installed? VA Response. The drawings have been updated to reflect the camera models detailed in the statement of work. 11. Where is the CT Waiting Area? There are 2 cameras listed for this area in the solicitation notice however they do not appear on the drawings. VA Response. The drawings have been updated to reflect the camera models detailed in the statement of work. 12. Under section 6, line items 6 and 7, surgery, there are 2 outdoor surface mount adapters. What is the purpose of the outdoor surface mount adapter, and where are these to be installed? VA Response. These two line items can be removed from the procurement. 13. Please clarify if cable and wire can be ran free air above the ceiling tiles or in enclosed conduit. VA representative at site walk seemed unclear and suggested using existing conduit. VA Response. Cabling can utilize existing j-hooks and cable trays; enclosed conduit is not required. 14. If conduit is required will VA provide conduit and box installation or is this to be furnished and installed by the contractor? VA Response. Conduit is not required.
