Description
The 501st Combat Support Wing has a requirement to relocate the teen center/convert mini-mall at RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 . Notice to Offerors(s)/Suppliers: General Information: The scope of work involves, but is not limited to:��Conduct R&D survey and update Asbestos Register(s) as appropriate.� Add/Alter internal walls, consider structural survey of Rm 014/015 dividing wall.�Retain existing internal glazing (except Rm 017) and install new window hatches.�Add/alter external glazing and install external emergency exits.�Replace floor, ceiling grid and tiles.�Replace luminaire throughout, including existing emergency luminaire, install additional emergency luminaire to code.� Provide modernized girls, boys and disabled toilet facilities.�Install CCTV, wi-fi, NIPR TAPS and CO detectors.�Provide break area and toilet for BCI cleaning staff.�Youth Centre and BCI cleaning staff will have separate primary entrances.�Replace internal doors and redecorate throughout.�Install canopy above new Teen Center main entrance and ramp access path for compliant disabled/mobility impaired access.�Conduct BUILDER condition assessments of roof, gutters, downpipes, HVAC and electrics, and undertake resultant repairs. � Site Visit: A site visit �is contingent upon offeror interest, no definite date has been determined yet. See Clause 52.236-27 Alternate I within the solicitation for more information.� Interested vendors must submit names of attendees no later than 7�September�2021, to allow coordination and issuance of temporary base passes. �Interested offerors should submit no more than three attendees. �Attendees must have a valid government-issued form of identification, and consent to a background check. At a minimum, attendees must supply identification that lists: Full Name Date of Birth Citizenship Make and Model of Vehicles Vehicle Registration Number Driving License Failure to provide any of the request information will result in refusal of base access. �
