Description

Subject: Award a Sole Source Contract to Motorola Solutions FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The U.S. Military Academy, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, NY award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract is for the Motorola LEX L11 Mission Critical LTE Devices �The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) intends to award sole source, firm fixed price contract to (Motorola Solutions, Linthicum Heights, MD) for Motorola LEX L11 Mission Critical LTE Devices. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 33420 Radio & Television Broadcasting Communications Equipment with the associated size standard of 1250 Employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement. Responses should be addressed to, Mr. Ignacio Cordova via email at Ignacio.j.cordova2.civ@mail.mil no later than the response date and time of 12:00 PM EDT on Friday, September 3, 2021. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
