Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to negotiate and award a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-19-G-0031 to Collins Aerospace, 400 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498, on an other than full and open competition basis. The contract will be for Software Support, Non-Recurring Engineering, and associated training to update and maintain the existing VH Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) in support of the Cockpit Upgrade Program (CUP).� Collins Aerospace. is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and the necessary proprietary technical data required to perform this effort.� A sole source acquisition will be procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Collins Areospace directly.
