- Solicitation is not included. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is issuing a solicitation for the purchase of fourteen (14) Sprinkler Guns for Tri Rivers Natural Resources, prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 333111, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250 employees as determined by 13 CFR 121.104. Competition for this requirement is Set-Aside for small business. Offers received from other than small business offerors will not be considered. When available, the solicitation documents for this project W912EF21Q0156 will be provided via SAM.gov, https://www.sam.gov, on or around 13 September 2021. Please do not submit a quote without the solicitation package that will be provided to industry by the Government as specified above. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). The official quotation due date will be contained in the solicitation and any solicitation amendments that may be issued. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The successful offeror shall provide fourteen (14) Sprinkler Guns that meet the following specifications: Sprinkler Guns shall be manufactured in the USA Manufacturer shall be Nelson Irrigation Model shall be F100-24xQC Nozzle shall be .75� 100T Shall come equipped with Nelson quick connect 100 key Quick connect key shall come equipped with the upper pilot line connector assembly Approval of the material submitted shall in no way relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of complying with the requirements of the specifications as to the suitability and quality of materials and workmanship and the adequacy of capacity, operating speed, and other essential characteristics of the gear reducer. Each component of the Nelson Sprinkler Guns shall be covered by the manufacturer�s standard warranty on all parts, labor, and workmanship from factory defects. Four (4) complete copies of the Operation and Maintenance Manuals (O&M Manuals) shall be submitted for the big guns. The O&M Manuals shall include order-specific instructions on the installation, normal and abnormal operations, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, warranty, and a list of recommended spare parts (if applicable). Any information pertaining to models or components not supplied under this contract shall be crossed out. The O&M Manuals shall also include a sheet at the front of the manuals listing the name, phone number, contact information for the manufacturer, and a distributor where spare parts can be purchased. The complete contract award number (as found on the contract Award document) shall also be included. Perform delivery, handling, and storage of items conforming to the manufacturer's requirements and best industry practices.� The Government will assist with unloading the items at the site.� Verify the condition and quantity of the items upon delivery by the Contracting Officer Representative and acknowledge receipt and condition thereof in writing.� If delivered items are damaged or a shortage is determined, notify the Contracting Officer of such in writing within 24 hours after delivery. All items shall be delivered FOB to Tri Rivers Natural Resources Pasco Maintenance Shop within sixty (60) days from date of contract award. The Contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the items in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to the Project site. No shipments are allowed other than normal business hours of Monday thru Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Important Note: the SAM.gov response date listed elsewhere in this synopsis is for SAM.gov archive purposes only. It does not necessarily reflect the actual due date that the RFQ is due.� NO CD's OR HARD COPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE.
