Description

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC or Commission) intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Professor Jeffery H. Bergstrand, DUNS number 118297924, University of Notre Dame, IN 46556, USA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Commission anticipates awarding a Purchase Order, on a sole source basis for the purpose of purchasing Advisory Services from Professor Jeffrey Bergstrand. �� Professor Jeffrey Bergstrand, a professor at Notre Dame University, is a world-renowned expert in the development and application of gravity models of foreign direct investment (FDI). He has published extensively on the determinants of trade flows, and the effects of free trade agreements on trade and economic welfare, and foreign direct investment. In his research, he has worked with a number of firm-level datasets that will be also used in the Commission�s FDI database.� The purchase order will consist of one 12-month Base Year, with two 12-month Options (36 months). The period of performance will begin October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information in response to this notice may be sent to myra.lay@usitc.gov. and debra.bridge@usitc.gov.����� A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
