Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ #70FBR621Q00000041 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561320, Temporary Help Services.��The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is considering the issuance of a single Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order.��The purpose of this purchase order is to contract a temporary workforce for a period of 30 days (12 hours per day/ 7 days per week) with potential for one (1) 30-Day Option period to work at FEMA Branch Offices and Responder Camps doing �point and click� temperature screenings in support of� DR-4611-LA, Hurricane Ida. The anticipated start date is Friday, September 24, 2021.� FEMA�s intent is to set aside this requirement for businesses located in Louisiana in accordance with FAR subpart 26.2�Disaster or Emergency Assistance Activities. This subpart provides a preference for local organizations, firms, and individuals when contracting for major disaster or emergency assistance activities. Because this is a set-aside, your business must represent that it has its main operating office in the declared disaster area; and that office generated at least half of your gross revenues and employed at least half of your permanent employees. Offerors shall provide proof of compliance with FAR 52.226-3 Disaster or Emergency Area Representation.
