Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center Yorktown, VA has a requirement to procure ONE (1) upgraded Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Networked System, duplicating the system on several of our newest cutters, the 270� WMEC, the 140� WEGB, and the CGC Mackinaw.� This network system, to be utilized for the Electrician�s Mate (EM) PLC �C� School (EM-04) to train electrician�s on networked PLC systems and also on training, troubleshooting, and repairing networked secondary and tertiary equipment that receives input from the PLC, onboard Training Center, Yorktown, VA. This is a notice of intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Purchase Order to Electrical Equipment Company, 3798 Village Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23502-5606 (DUNS Number 611205246, Cage Code 0K7P9), the only authorized Allen-Bradley distributor for the local region, on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The anticipated award date is on or around 28 SEPTEMBER 2021.� This notice is not a request for quotation and no solicitation is available.� A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Capability statements received within three (3) calendar days of this announcement may be considered by the Government.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 04:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Thursday, 23 September 2021, to the point of contact Maria L Nestico, email Maria.L.Nestico@uscg.mil.� The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.� Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
