Description

PRESOLICITATION FOR PROJECT #659-20-101 BUILDING 21 SPS CLEANROOM The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Ave Salisbury, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all administration, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, license, and qualified supervision for Project 659-20-101. Relocate the equipment storage rooms (2B133 and 2B134) in building twenty-one (21) at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. General Scope of Work: The project will take place in Building 21, 2nd floor. This project will renovate 1300 SF related directly to SPS cleaning and storage areas. This project is to renovate the area to help improve flow process efficiency and correct the compliancy issues with the area. The goal is to relocate the Equipment Storage rooms (2B133 and 2B134) to be in direct SPS area for storage and procedural usage. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. NAICS CODE: 236220 Standard Size: $39.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set- Aside. Solicitation material will be available on or about October 15, 2021. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register on the www.sam.gov website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz database if applicable (VetBiz registration is required for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Vet Biz information at http://www.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contract can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM.
