- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE DIASORIN LIAISON XL The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, hereby provides notice of its intent to establish a single award firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with DiaSorin Inc. The contract will include the lease of one (1) Liaison XL analyzer, installation, training, preventative maintenance, services/repairs, and all reagents, consumables, and supplies required for performance of Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA), Tuberculosis (TB) testing at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta GA 30904. The anticipated award is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source . It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of DiaSorin Liaison XL Analyzer services that can meet the agency needs. Diasorin Liaison XL is the only open access, continuous feed instrument capable of detecting latent Tuberculosis using an FDA cleared assay. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6640, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. A Limited Sources Justification has been prepared. The base period of performance shall be 12 months from date of award, with four (4) one-year, option periods. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible and interested sources may submit a capability statement and any other documentation as evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 2:00 pm ET on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Responses may be emailed to lasonja.harvey@va.gov.
