- Sources Sought Synopsis (Request for Interested Manufacturers) FROM:� Nongnout Kelly Reyes, 409 SCMS/GUMCA TO:� �� DLA Aviation Procurement Operations at Warner Robins (SPRWA1) LOCATION:� Robins AFB, GA 31098-1813 FBO Post Title:� Request for Interested Manufacturers for NSNs: ��� ���������������������������� 5998-01-627-5313FX, Video Amp Circuit Card Assembly ���������������������������� 1270-01-626-9971FX, CRT/Harmonization Assembly ���������������������������� 5998-01-627-5316FX, I/O Processor Circuit Card Assembly ���������������������������� 5998-01-626-9738FX, Sweep Generator Circuit Card Assembly ��������� ������������������� SUBJECT: Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the 4 each NSNs on PR FD20602200119.� ITEM DESCRIPTION The Video Amp Circuit Card Assembly, 5998-01-627-5313FX (PN 966-3816-001), provides raster and stroke video amplification, video drive to the CRT cathode and stroke (alphanumeric) drive to the CRT grid 1.� The I/O Processor Circuit Card Assembly, 5998-01-627-5316FX (PN 966-3818-002), interfaces with the HUD and its subassemblies to external signals and front panel switches, processing and passing information to the subassemblies in discrete or analog form.� The Sweep Generator Circuit Card Assembly, 5998-01-626-9738FX (PN 966-3814-001) produces X and Y deflection signals and a focus blanking signal. �The CRT/Harmonization Assembly, 1270-01-626-9971FX (PN 987-0000-226) provides compensating adjustments on the X and Y deflection waveforms which are necessary to correct for non-linearities in the yoke coils and CRT electron gun.� All SRUs, except for 1270-01-626-9971FX support the WFOV HUD and the MPD, installed on the F-15E Fighter Jet. The WFOV HUD is an optical/ electrical unit that projects electronically produced stroke and raster symbology through an optical system onto the combining glass, showing attack, navigation, aircraft attitude, and mode data in all selected flight conditions. The Multipurpose Display (MPD) provides the F-15E aircrew with visual representation of flight, navigation, attack, target, weapon, and advisory data.� NSN 1270-01-626-9971FX only supports the WFOV HUD.� *� Please note that the Market Research Conditions in the 2018 LTC MRR report are still applicable. Impediment to Competition: The original equipment manufacturer for these items is Collins Aerospace (CAGE 0EFD0), which maintains its configuration by part number and software version. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of these requirements. As a result, Collins Aerospace is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the Circuit Card Assemblies, the CRT/Harmonization Assembly, and the Low Voltage Power Supply performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.� INTEREST The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to Collins Aerospace for the manufacture of the Circuit Card Assemblies and the CRT/Harmonization Assembly in support of the F-15E WFOV HUD and the MPD.� Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 1�November 2021 by emailing Nongnout Reyes at nongnout.reyes.1@us.af.mil and dla.dlr.proc@us.af.mil. �The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
