- Contract Opportunity: Repair of the C-5 Standby Attitude Indicator (SAI) and Air Data Unit (ADU) Notice ID: FA8538-22-R-0002_RFP Pre-Solicitation ID: FA8538-22-R-0002_Synopsis This requirement is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB (FA8538). Solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price requirements contract for the repair of the Standby Attitude Indicator (SAI), NSN: 6610-99-593-8834UC, and Air Data Unit (ADU), NSN: 6610-99-131-6575UC, NAICS Code: 811219, PSC: J066, in support of the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) 638 Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG), 409 Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS)/GUMAA.� The Request For Proposal (RFP) is for a one year Basic Ordering Period and four (4) one-year Ordering Periods following the Basic. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to proceed utilizing Other Than Full and Open procedures in accordance with FAR Part 6.302.� The Government does not own any production level technical data in support of this requirement.� As a result, Meggitt Avionics, CAGE Code K0100, is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the C-5 Standby Attitude Indicator (SAI) and Air Data Unit (ADU) performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to repair this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.� NSN: 6610-99-131-6575UC Noun: Air Data Unit NSN: 6610-99-593-8834UC Noun: Standby Attitude Indicator The Government�s required delivery schedule is 60 calendar days after receipt of repairable asset or funded delivery order, whichever is later.� The quantities shown below represent the Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for this effort: Basic Period: BEQ 8 EA of SAI, and BEQ 8 EA of ADU Ordering Period I: BEQ 8 EA of SAI, and BEQ 8 EA of ADU Ordering Period II: BEQ 8 EA of SAI, and BEQ 8 EA of ADU Ordering Period III: BEQ 8 EA of SAI, and BEQ 8 EA of ADU Ordering Period IV: BEQ 8 EA of SAI, and BEQ 8 EA of ADU Point of contact for inquires is Contract Specialist Phillip Russell, PZAAB, email: phillip.russell.9@us.af.mil.
