PSC: W036 Lease or Rental of Equipment- Special Industry Machinery NAICS Code: 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance The U.S. Army Contracting Command � New Jersey, on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Armaments Center (CCDC AC), (Packaging Division) at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting market research to determine the capability of businesses to lease a 3 Dimensional (D) Printer to include maintenance, repair service, part, labor, software, equipment, tools, and transportation to support the 3D printer. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POTENTIAL OFFERORS TO MONITOR THE GPE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMMATION PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT.� BACKGROUND: The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $8 Million. The Product Service Code is W036. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Each potential source is requested to provide information on the 3D printers that are available to be leased and provided lease terms and conditions along with payment options to support the lease of the 3D printer. The lease shall include maintenance, repair service, part, labor, software, equipment, tools, and transportation to support the 3D printer. (Note: Consumables are not included). The 3D printer should have the following functions/characteristics: The 3D printer shall be modular in design with 16 Liter (L) build volume measuring 10.8 inches x 6.3 inches by 15.7 inches. The 3D printer shall have a washing and curing unit capable of handling 16L parts on a single tray. The washing and curing units are also capable of handling both single large prints and a combination of smaller parts with multiple trays to support creating finished parts. The 3D printer shall include a software tool(s) that validate workflows as part of a digital thread and includes intuitively guided prep and execution systems. The validated workflows include material and geometry specific prescribed wash and cure cycles. The chamber can hold up to three build plates at once and allows parts to cure directly on the build plate or be placed in a basket and cured individually.
