Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service, Cotton and Tobacco Program has a�requirement for a conveyor system as described in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a�combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart�12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the�only solicitation; proposals are being requested, the RFP is attached. This is a total small business set-aside.��Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. A trade-off process will be used�to evaluate offers. To be awarded this contract, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award�Management (www.SAM.gov).� Registration in SAM is free.� Read the RFP in its entirety.� Instructions are found in Section E.� You must submit the required documents stated in Section E or your proposal will be deemed non-responsive.��Proposals are due on January 14, 2022 at 10:00 am central time. Proposals�may be submitted via email to BeverlyS.Brown@usda.gov.� �Any questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing by�January 7, 2022 at 10:00 am central times.
