Description
Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract (Period of Performance: 12 Months) to The Binding Site for the procurement of Reagent Rental Agreement for Serum Free Light Chain Kappa and Lambda along with other tests such as IGA, IGG, IGM, Ceruloplasmin, Alpha-1-Antitrypsin, Bet-2-Macroglobulin, that includes Laboratory Reagents and Supplies. Vendor will provide a cost-per-test (CPT) agreement for the North Texas Veterans Health Care System, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, Dallas, Vendor will install One (1) new Optilite Service Package (8x5) at Dallas, on a Cost-Per-Test (CPT) basis. The reader will be located, and testing will be performed in VA North Texas Health Care System, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, Dallas VA Medical Center Core Laboratory, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216.���� Along with the�supplies and consumables, the vendor will provide all necessary maintenance to keep the testing instruments in good operating condition � including both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs � and training for government personnel in the operation of the instruments.� � Test Volumes: Serum Free Light Chain Kappa = 110/m Serum Free Light Chain Lambda = 110/m Alpha-1 antitrypsin = 113/m Beta-2 Microglobulin = 4/m Ceruloplasmin 40/m IgG Serum ($8.36) = 40/m IgA serum ($8.36) = 30/m IgM serum ($8.36) = 15/m This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government.� If no affirmative written response is received within seven (7) days from the publication of this notice, a contract will be issued to The Binding Site, without any further notice. The anticipated statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for the requirement is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Needs.
