Description
The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC)�and Space Systems Command�(SSC) will�co-host�a�Technical Review Day�for the purpose of providing�industry partners insight and�rationale to the Force Design processes�and specifically review the Space Data Transport�(SDT) Force Design scope and technical analytic approach.� This�Technical Review Day is for the sole purpose of disseminating information to industry�and is unrelated to any ongoing or planned acquisitions.� SWAC and SSC have established a dedicated email account for SDT Force Design communications.� The email address is:�sdtForceDesign@spaceforce.mil. �SSC will be providing�additional�Technical Review Day�information�through follow-on�emails to interested parties.��At this time, please submit an email confirming your interest to attend.� In the email, please provide�the following:� Company Name� Address� POC Name� POC telephone number� POC email�� All respondents will receive a return email confirming receipt.� Note:� The�Technical Review Day�will be at a classified level and all companies wishing to attend must be vetted.� Due to COVID concerns,�seating and facility capacity�will be�extremely limited, although overflow and video teleconferencing (VTC) options will be available.� Follow-on emails will notify companies of�critical information to include;�specific�location, time, attendee numbers,�COVID�restrictions, VTC numbers, overflow locations�and�security requirements.� Technical Review Day�specifics:� Date: 16 February 2022� Location: �Washington D.C. area (TBD) Company Attendees (numbers): �TBD� Classification: TOP SECRET//SI/TK//NOFORN//� Purpose:��� The USSF SWAC develops Force Designs for USSF mission areas through a rigorous analytical process.��A Force Design describes how the USSF envisions modernizing the force to provide space�effects�the Joint Force and our Nation require in the future operating environment.��Force Designs are grounded in peer-reviewed analysis using contemporary digital modeling tools and simulation environments.��The SWAC will apply a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to system and architecture definition enabling system, architecture, concept design and affordability analysis through the Force Design�life-cycle.��USSF desires to communicate to industry how USSF mission areas are evolving.��A Technical Review Day provides a forum for the USSF to communicate Force Design objectives and the analytic approach�to�industry.��In doing so, the intent is to enable industry to have access to Force Design overviews to�potentially�guide internal investments and�be�able to communicate with USSF from a�consistent MBSE-based�Force Design frame of reference.
