Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for an Inventory Management System based on weight.� A Statement of Objectives is listed below which provides the basic information as to what the requirement will be. Once the Market Research is complete an RFQ will be issued. Statement of Objectives Project Title:� Supply Inventory Management System Document Date:� 10 December 2021 Objective and Scope:� USAF has a requirement to adopt a weight based inventory system to provide for a more efficient inventory management, dispersed throughout 20 separate supply accounts. These separate accounts are necessary for accurate supply accounting based on the breadth of testing that we complete on an annual basis for all of the Air Force, as well as other DoD branches in countries across the globe. This system will eliminate the manual inventory process by automatically generating a report for the items that need replenished based on the minimum weight that a particular item location should have. This weight based inventory system needs to be LAN based with the capabilities of web-based in the future to support the DoD going forward. Desired Requirements: System shall be accessible from any computer or through its own dedicated laptop/PC System must be completely LAN/hard wired based (no WIFI, no Blutooth) System software needs to limit User IDs to only certain supply account IDs for ordering purposes System needs to have the capability to timeout due to periods of non-use System must be functional in temperature as low as 32 degrees F System needs to use the weight of the items in determining replenishment quantities System software updates should be automatic� Identify all methods for delivery updates to the system (i.e. hard disk delivery, CD, writtable disk, USB, Internet) and if any of these methods will not System needs to be able to support a minimum of 40 locations (co-located in same facility) System needs to generate a replenishment report that can be used to place supply order in a separate system Installation User training Tech support Response details: Include items below in response submissions Company profile cover page to include Cage Code, DUNS, Socio-Economic size, location, point of contact (POC) Descriptive literature for system Details of tech support packages offered Details of standard warranty Optional � Informational Pricing data (not official quote, pricing will not be used for any evaluation/contract award purposes)
