Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: FY22: Service Contract Tuttnauer Autoclave Announcement No: 36C24822Q0015 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source fixed-price procurement for Services to Tuttnauer USA Company LTD, a small business concern. The period of performance (POP) for this effort will be a 12-month base period with (4) 12-month option periods. The total estimated value is $32,177.00. This sole source contracting action is pursuing a wavier from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 8405-2 for the requirement, based on the application of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1) (if)(B). The notice hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or patient care objectives of the VA Health System. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will usually be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
