Description

The Regional Contracting Office Marine Corps Installations West (MCIWEST), Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Pendleton, CA, has a requirement to provide short-term heavy equipment leasing services at MCB Camp Pendleton, CA; Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Miramar, CA; and Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD), San Diego, CA. The Period of Performance is expected to begin on or about April 1, 2022, with a one year base period, four possible one-year option periods, and an option to extend services up to 6 months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation for this requirement is scheduled to be released via Contract Opportunities (https://www.sam.gov/) on or around 1 February 2022. This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The anticipated procurement is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 532412 �Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing� with a size standard of $35.0M.
