Q's and A's: What is the depth of the main line? 4.5 feet.��Are we replacing every valve shown on the map?�Yes.��When replacing the hydrants, are we using ductile iron or are we allowed to use blue pipe? (dr-18 c900)�Replace with original pipe material--ductile iron.��It also discusses leaving the ditch open, would we be able to leave a ditch open if we cover it with a steel plate?�Yes.��Are there any asphalt, concrete, or sidewalk surrounding the hydrants/bollards?�There are no hydrants on concrete or any sidewalk.
