Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) NOR A SOLICITATION The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), California Great Basin - Interior Region 10 intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Lumen Technologies Government Solutions, Inc. to support a T-1 line (point to point) from 6600 Washburn Way to the A Canal site at 500 Nevada St (both in Klamath Falls, OR), so internet traffic can travel and provide needed conductivity between the two sites. In addition, there is a recurring requirement for 2 Analog phone lines at 2 different sites, 541 273-1681 for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at Hill Street and 541 882-1078 at Nevada Street for safety and maintenance communications. The T-1 line must allow IP communication, work site to site, so the door card system and computers are able to communicate using the T-1 line. The 2 Analog phone lines must also work at their respective locations with the noted phone numbers. This action will result in a purchase order with a base plus four (4) option years. This requirement is being conducted in accordance with (IAW) under the authority of FAR 13.1. A sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The applicable contracting office for this requirement is Bureau of Reclamation, California Great Basin Region, Division of Acquisition Services, located at 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA 95825. Firms believing, they can provide these services must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. All responses received with 7 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition. Responses should include the firms Duns and Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Firms should identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard of NACIS Code 517311, which is 1,500 employees. This notice may represent the only official notice of such procurement. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Vanh Phun by email at vphun@usbr.gov.
